Mission Statement
Recent travel restrictions have highlighted the enormous environmental and clean air benefits of having a lot less traffic – carbon fuelled vehicles – on our roads.
Now that Governments want to rebuild economies with infrastructure and new technology projects, this would be a great time to look towards much cleaner transport.
Many will agree that electrically powered vehicles provide a clean, efficient, cheap and environmentally friendly future for personal and industrial transport. The problem, and it’s a big problem, is range.
Even with the best battery technology available today there are significant limits on what can realistically be achieved whilst still being acceptable or desirable to those used to petrol or diesel powered vehicles.
Typical vehicle ranges today are about 200 miles assuming new batteries and considerate driving. Even with the 300 miles or so of a top end eCar, an example trip from London to the North would be fraught with difficulties and long delays.
There are alternatives of course; hybrids, fuel cells and networks of charging stations, but they all have significant drawbacks and show no real signs of in mainstream use.
What if there was a way to largely remove range restrictions and have electric vehicles able to travel very long distances, possibly without needing to stop at all save for the occupants’ comfort ?
What if that could be achieved with existing technology and a little ingenuity ?
And what if this new system could also integrate business models as a viable replacement for pay as you buy liquid fuels ?

I'm getting too old and too ill to continue iRev myself.
I desperately want to set up a retreat for people with PTSD and similar, while I still can.
Therefore I'm going to raise funds for the above, and when there's enough, I will put the iREV idea in the public domain.
Alternatively, I can sell the intellectual property outright.
Either way, the funds will go to creating The Big White Horse Retreat.
